Information Systems Analysis
Thinking widely about systems: clinical, non-clinical, financial, medical supply management, etc., select one system and describe the concept of an information system and its characteristics in support of healthcare organizations.
Include the following in your analysis:
The purpose of the system you selected.
Users of the system: clinical staff, non-clinical staff, etc.
How does the system support patient care? Keep in mind, that in a healthcare setting all systems support patient care, directly or indirectly.
What integrations are needed?
What challenges are encountered with these systems and how are these challenges being met?
Additional Requirements
Complete in a 3-5 page report format (A report presents information (facts) and analysis about a problem, and often suggests a solution) with the following elements.
Cover Page
Introduction
Main Body with headers (this will include the items listed above).
Conclusion/Recommendations
Reference Page

Formatting: 12pt font, margins no larger than 1 inch, 1.5 or double spacing for body of text.
