For this assignment, you will observe an licensed infant or toddler program in your community that serves children ages 0-3. A preschool program is not eligible for this assignment. It must specifically be an infant/toddler program with an infant toddler license from Community Care Licensing. If you already work in an center with an infant/toddler license , you may observe the infant/toddler program at your work location.
Please make sure you schedule your observation for a time that you can observe all the criteria listed below. You ONLY will use information from Chapter 21, Chapter 27 and Chapter 28 to guide your observation . Please make sure to read the chapters prior to the observation.

Observation Report:
Your observation report should include a general overview of your observation . Include at least a paragraph describing the program, time you observed, number of classrooms and your reason for choosing the program. Then answer the following questions:
How did the program promote health and safety for the children? Give at least 5 objective examples of observed health and safety practices.
Describe any sleeping/mealtime/ bottle feeding observed. How did the sleeping/mealtime/bottle feeding align with the licensing information from the textbook.
How was the environment set up ? Please describe the layout and how the areas of the classroom were arranged .
Describe 5 things that you will include from this observation in your Project #3- Environmental Design.
Describe 3 things you observed that you will change or not include for Project # 3- Environmental Design.
