In this course, the student will be able to:
• become aware of competing theoretical traditions in study of security
• have a better understanding of the concept of human security and its components
• have the ability to explain, evaluate, and criticize different aspects of human security
• understand the key international issues that are relevant to human security
• read, analyze and present on regular basis additional sources on the topics discussed in class
