In Unit 6, you explored the myriad ways fossil fuels could be replaced with other energy sources. You learned that a combination of fuels might be needed to maintain the power grids without those traditional fuels. In this assignment, you are asked to create a three-part submission that could be published as a blog. The submission should include responses to the following questions.
Part 1
Which energy source do you think is the most promising?
Name the source of the fuel.
Describe the technology required to access the fuel – for example, designing solar panels to capture the sun’s energy and then using a battery to store the energy for use when the sun is not shining.
How much will it cost, and how could those costs be offset?
What made you choose this energy source?
Part 2
In a table, compare your selected most promising source to three others that you explored in this unit. Do this by listing the pros and cons of each of the four energy sources – your chosen one and the three others. Consider the following:
Environmental Impact
Financial costs
Current Challenges to its universal use.
Ethical Considerations (human costs, such as displacement, loss of jobs, depletion of the food supply, etc.)

Part 3
Prepare a marketing infographic (see attached examples and instructions) you could use to promote this energy source. Once you create the infographic, save it as a pdf to submit it. Include the following in your infographic:
What benefits your chosen source could provide when compared to fossil fuels and other alternatives?
How individuals could incorporate the chosen source into their lives (individual level).
How local governments could incorporate the chosen source into their community.
What role federal regulating bodies should play in the adoption of this source of energy?
