Critical Analysis of Qualitative Methods:
Describe the qualitative research methods employed in the study, such as interviews, content analysis, observational research, or questionnaires.
Evaluate the appropriateness of the chosen methods in answering the research question and meeting the study’s objectives.
Does the researcher comment on their positionality, or ethical considerations in relation to the research.
Were there any specific ethical considerations or concerns in the study?
Would other methods have been possible given the research question, sample, or context?
Would you have modified or changed the methodological choices that you believe could strengthen the research outcomes?
Strengths and Limitations:
Identify and discuss the strengths of the qualitative methods used in the study. Was it able to capture rich data, that could help explore or explain complex social phenomena?
Analyze the limitations of the qualitative approach, including potential researcher bias, subjectivity, interpretation, etc. Were there any constraints beyond the researcher’s control. How might they have been better mitigated, if at all.
Submission Guidelines:
The assignment should be in the form of a well-structured academic essay, adhering to the university academic writing and integrity standards. The paper should be 5 pages in length, and no longer than 6 pages, typed 12 point font, double spaced, with standard margins.
