In this assignment, you will assess depressants, stimulants, and hallucinogens and their effects on the human body.
Identify one drug from each category (see examples below). In a 3- to 5-page paper, assess the differences between the drugs, including composition, manufacture/cultivation, and ways used. You will then provide an in-depth analysis of each drug’s physical and psychological effects. The assessment should include, at a minimum, drug ingestion, tolerance, withdrawal symptoms and effects, and any medical uses for each drug.
A sample of drugs is listed below in the three categories, but you may also choose a drug not on the list. Although this paper is on a topic of your choice, if you identify and select a narcotic not on the list below, you should have it approved by the instructor before beginning the assignment to ensure the chosen drug is specified correctly in its category.
