April 12, 2024

In the 5-page (Between 1,400 and 1,600 words) paper plus the title page and the reference page (therefore, a total of 7 pages), the student will summarize a peer-reviewed journal article provided by the instructor (see attached article). You must show that you read and understand the article by describing the key points in your own words. Please include the introduction and conclusion, but not an abstract section. As this assignment summarizes the article, do not include any external sources.
Your submission must be in either MS Word or PDF. Any other format will not be accepted (i.e., you will receive zero points). Please note that this is an academic paper; therefore, do not use a conversational tone, but be professional, clear, and concise. Please do not plagiarize (i.e., copy) or directly quote the original work, including, but not limited to, the definition from the textbook, academic papers, Wikipedia, websites, or any other sources. You must include an appropriately formatted in-text citation. Do not include your feelings or opinions.
Be sure to review the SafeAssign report. If any sentences (excluding titles or names) are flagged as “high match,” revise them and resubmit your work before the due date.
You must follow the APA style – double-spaced, 1-inch margin with 11-point Times New Roman or Calibri font. The cover sheet must indicate the title of your submission, your name, course, instructor’s name, semester, year, and submission date. Properly formatted in-text citations and the reference page must be included. Helpful resources regarding the APA style can be found in the Course Resources folder in the Learning Module on Blackboard. See Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (7th Ed.). (2020). Washington, DC: American Psychological Association, or visit http://www.apastyle.org/learn/index.aspx for details.
