In Module 2 of this course, you explored restorative justice processes and practices in action, specifically victim-offender mediation, family group counseling, victim impact panels, peacemaking circles, and reparative boards. For this assignment, your task is to synthesize what you learned in this module, to identify and summarize scholarly sources that offer support for what you learned, and to demonstrate your ability to apply what you learned to address real-world issues. To accomplish this task, you will need to follow the instructions provided below.

Part 1: Synthesis
Provide a summary of the most salient concepts you learned in this module. The summary should not be a regurgitation of the chapter objectives, but it should clearly provide a synthesis of the key concepts discussed in the chapters, demonstrating your ability to connect related concepts from the assigned chapters.
Part 2: Research
Based on your synthesis, provide a discussion of research findings related to the key concepts discussed in the synthesis. In this section, you are expected to succinctly discuss the thesis of the research and related key findings. Part 3: Application

Provide a brief summary of the real-world examples and specifically discuss how the provided examples relate to the key concepts discussed.
