My Introduction paragraph:
The practice of modesty in Muslim dressing has sparked off
many debates and discussions worldwide. This custom is connected to people’s
religious, cultural, and personal values. The controversy over some forms of
veiling dwells on the deep expressions of religions and national cultures, the
assertion of individual rights, and the fight against communal norms. Only by
appreciating these different points of view, mentioned in different settings,
can we gain a better understanding of the various processes and purposes of
