In your essay, analyze:
–knowledge, and the ways in which is approached, discussed and applied in the revisionist Western
–science, and the ways in which is approached, discussed and applied in the revisionist Western
–religion, and the ways in which is approached, discussed and applied in the revisionist Western

You can find relevant secondary sources through our library–online! Feel free to use tertiary sources but only IN ADDITION to relevant secondary sources.
You must use the MLA 2016+ edition.
If you don’t follow MLA properly, you might lose up to 20 points (2 letter grades). Failure to include any relevant secondary sources in the essay will result in an automatic F for the essay; the assignment is to write a research essay.
You must have a strong thesis, developed body paragraphs, and a conclusion that is not repetitive. Your argument needs to be relevant and well supported. Avoid five paragraph essays. Review your previous essays and do your best to avoid mistakes/issues that were recognized in them.
It’s mandatory to focus on the texts, and cite them when needed. Use your close reading skills, as well as rhetorical analysis skills that you mastered in your introductory English classes. In the essay, you should demonstrate that you are a careful reader and a critical thinker. Proofread carefully!
