Grading Criteria for the Paper:
A grading rubric will be used to assess writing Assignments. The following criteria will be used to guide the grading of the Writing Assignment (See the “Grading Rubric” in the Week #5 Module for more specific details regarding the grading criteria for the assignment):
Content, Discussion, Justification, and Integration of Course Content (also, paper meets originality requirements-similarity percentage through Turnitin does not exceed 20%)
Completeness, Format, Structure, & Flow, Appropriate Citations and References (Paper follows APA format)
Grammar, Punctuation, & Spelling
Other Writing Assignment Requirements:
The paper should be between 7-10 pages, double-spaced, using 12 pt. font (without front page and reference). The paper must also follow APA guidelines.
Papers must be posted in Canvas by the deadline listed in the course schedule accompanying this syllabus.
Completeness, format, structure, and flow include appropriate paragraph length, effective transitions between paragraphs, and a conclusion section. For a more detailed description of the requirements/criteria for this section, please see the Grading Rubric included in the Week #5 Module.
The paper must include a reference section, and appropriately cite (using APA guidelines) a minimum of 5 articles from peer-reviewed, scholarly/academic journals (Examples include: Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Journal of Organizational Behavior). The textbook, other books, websites and other sources can be used in addition to the minimum five journal articles required, but please note that the textbook, other books, and web sources do not count toward the five required journal articles. Wikipedia is not considered an acceptable source for the purpose of this paper. The Troy University Library has excellent databases for you to access literature for your paper. (I typically use the “ABI/Inform” database for most of my research).
