Assessment 2 DetailsAssessment 3 consists of two (2) sections, which combine your knowledge based on semester learning, and your ability to research a theme and present concise knowledge linked to an over-arching theme. The two sections are linked by the thread of adoption of new technologies.
Section 1: Research the insurance industry on technology adoption– Insurance has always been a competitive area of business. It is customer focused and as an industry sector have been early adopters of technology in the western world.You task is to create a report which describes how the insurance industry has been transformed by new technologies within the last decade. In completing this task, you may wish to write a report in general or focus on a specific insurance company.Your report should include which technologies have been adopted, the areas of the insurance industry most affected and the benefits/challenges experienced by the sector (or organisation).
Section 2 – Research the health industry on technology adoption The health industry is naturally customer focused and is adopting the possibility of remarkable progress with AI.You task is to create a report which describes how the health industry might transform its abilities by the adoption of AI. In completing this task, you may wish to write a report in general or focus on a specific aspect of AI in health.
Conclusion- The conclusion should compare and contrast these two sectors and find both the commonalties and the differences. Look beyond the two very obvious sectors, what are the goals of each sector, what drives each sector, what are the ethics that should be considered by each sector in the adoption of new technologies. The conclusion provides you with an opportunity to share your own thoughts. No answer is “wrong”, have a voice about the industry within which you have chosen to participate!
