Above are our objectives for understanding Non- Communicable diseases and we have to also discuss the Non- communicable diseases that tend to have a significant burden on our health system.
Your task for this forum is to choose one of the above diseases(mental illness) and discuss the items listed below:
1. The burden of that disease both nationally and internationally.
2. The significance of understanding the epidemiology behind its development.
3. Discuss briefly its pathophysiology and impact on the patient and care environment.
4. Discuss a prevention strategy used internationally that is associated with the disease you have outlined and chosen to discuss.
5. Critique the prevention strategy of Guyana versus the international strategy you have researched.
