please follow the instruction.
discussion board, you will begin the process writing this literature review by posting a preliminary outline and uploading your sources. Specifically, you will:
1) Identify your topic (which will be used throughout the remainder of the course and culminate in a final research proposal – so choose wisely),
2) Identify and read potential sources to be referenced in your literature review
3) Save the sources you will use as PDF documents and upload at least 4 sources relevant to the following that you will be citing in your lit review
3) Begin fleshing out a preliminary outline (see below for format and example) with pertinent information and the citation and reference of your sources
4) By Friday, May 21st, typing directly into a thread using the following template (i.e. please do NOT attach your outline in a word document, because it makes it more difficult for me and your peers to scan the responses) ,
fill in the following outline that includes at least one research finding and its source for each of the following:
TOPIC: XXX
I) Epidemiological Data (see rubric for detailed explanation of what this means)
II) Causes/Predictors
III) Outcomes
IV) Evidence Based Treatment(s)

TOPIC: Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)
I) Epidemiological Data
A) 12-month prevalance = 3% and lifetime prevalence of 12 % (Weissman, 1996)
II) Causes/Predictors
A) Experiencing stressful life events (Kendler, Karkowski, & Prescott, 1999)
III) Outcomes
A) Physical health problems and mortality (Kessler & Bromet, 2013)
IV) Evidence Based Treatment(s)
A) CBT/Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (Butler, Chapman, Forman& Beck, 2006)
