The Just City (90 points) Susan Fainstein (2015) argues for a “realistic utopianism” (p. 20) in contemporary planning. Fainstein understands a single planner can’t change the world. Still, she argues they should still press for the most equitable outcomes.
To that end, she identifies the three values of the “just city.” Identify and describe each of the principles. Next, consider the various stakeholders in the Echo Park. For each of the three principles of the just city, identify at least one group who does or does NOT uphold a particular principle. Use Fainstein’s text (not your opinions) to justify your answer.

In his influential article, he presents planning’s triangle of goals and the associated conflicts. Identify and describe each conflict. Next, identify aspects of the Echo Park story that illustrate each of the three conflicts and explain your answer fully. Use Campbell’s text (not your opinion) to justify your answer.
