I would like the three renewable technologies to be used Solar, Wind turbine and Geothermal if possible but others for the assignment will be accepted if it is easier.

With an ever-increasing population, costs of electricity, oil and gas and global warming creating
higher demands on our energy infrastructure, it is becoming more important to review our
renewable strategies to cater for future demands. Social, legislative, and economic pressures
require Engineers to develop and adopt technologies and processes to overcome these problems.
Renewable Energy is the future.
You are going to spend two months’ work experience as an Electrical Engineer in L J Power
Supplies PLC. You will be required to explore the use of current renewable technologies and
resources to produce a report on the costing and potential issues involved with the installation of
environmental technologies.
Task
a) Attached is a plan of bungalow in Dorset. You have been requested to carry out a cost
benefit analysis of the three required technologies outlined in the scenario. Include in your
report advantages and any potential issues arising from either a single or combined
installation and associated savings against conventional energy sources.
b) Explain and evaluate key external factors that influence an organisation, such as political,
Economic, Sociological, Technological, Legal and Environmental. (PESTLE)
