Proposed Intervention
Identify and describe the proposed intervention or plan or steps to address the issue. (This needs to be concrete and sufficiently detailed and outlines your broad goal and then the steps of what you are going to do to reach this goal). This is the heart of the proposal.
i. What do you hope will be done (what are the goals of the project)?
ii. How will it be done (intervention/implementation). This might include
1. who is recruited into the project and why.
2. what resources are needed and how these will be accessed. Identify the community capacity you will engage and expand:
What physical, economic, political, social, cultural, and human capacity might be relevant and why? You might also consider the success of similar initiatives elsewhere and their potential relevance to your context.
(Integrate theory throughout i.e., back up with academic literature and other relevant references).
3. Costs. The costs you outline should be reasonably realistic. Set up in table form (single spaced), outlining expenses such as salaries, rent, equipment and so on. This budget needs to only offer an overview.
