Abstract:
The abstract should
present a brief summary of the project, indicating the purpose, the procedures
or methods followed, the results and conclusions reached.
Table of Contents:
The project must have a table of contents page listing
chapter headings, section headings, sub-headings, appendices, and references.
The corresponding page number of each item in the table should be provided.
Formatting the Project:
Layout and Appearance The project must be typewritten on A4
metric size paper (21 cm x 29.7 cm) in Times New Roman (12 point). The project
must be typewritten on a single-side and the text is to be written with 1.5
line spacing and should be justified to both margins.
Margins:
The left margin (binding side) must be at least 3.5 cm wide
to allow for binding and the other three margins must be at least 2.5 cm wide.
The margin is determined by the last letter or character in the longest line on
the page.
Figures and Tables:
The numeration of the
figures is based on the chapter. The first digit represents the chapter and the
second one is given by consecutive enumeration, e.g. Figure 2.1. Tاhe tables are numbered in
the same way, e.g. Table 3.1. The title of a table should be written in bold
font (Upper Case) of 12 size and placed at the top of the table, while the
title of a figure should be written in bold font of 12 size and placed at bottom
of the figure.
Headings
All headings of the same level should use the same style,
and headings at lower levels should be less prominent than those at higher
levels.
References:
At the end of your project, place a list of the references
you have cited in the text. It provides the information necessary for a reader
to locate and retrieve any source you cite in the text of the project.
References must be cited inside the text by providing a number like [23].and
saying something about the work. Each source you cite in the project must
appear in your reference list. The reference list begins a new page with the
centred heading and double-spaces all reference entries. The details required
of the reference are in the following order: 1- Name(s) of author(s) 2- Title
of publication (all titles must italicised) 3- Name of book, journal or
conference 4- Series title and individual volume if any 5- Place of publication
6- Date of publication 7- Page number(s) if applicable
