I have attached what I have written but I would like the narrative to be improved by making it more dramatic and with a better climax. You can change as much as you want to make it a high distinction piece of writing.

Assignment details:
1500 words for prose + 250-word reflection; 6 pages for poetry + 250-word reflection; 6-8 pages for script/screenplay + 250-word reflection; multi-modal piece length to be discussed with tutor + 250-word reflection
Task:
Students apply their writing and editing skills to an extended creative work, developed through workshopping in class. A reflective statement contextualises the authorial choices made during the process of writing.
This task asks you to put your editing and writing skills into practice. There are two components.
1) An original creative work that has been developed and workshopped in class with peer support.
2) An accompanying reflective statement that positions the work in relation to, for example, the writer’s social identity, sense of place, relationship to the material, creative process and the way the piece responds to the course and the readings. Questions such as: ‘Why did you write this story, what experiences, special knowledge or research did you bring to this story, and why is here-and-now the right time and place for this story?’ are addressed, encouraging students to think through questions about cultural appropriateness, specificity and representation.
You can choose the theme, form and genre for this piece. It could be a piece of prose-fiction, or creative non-fiction. You can write poetry. There is also the opportunity to create a hybrid piece that includes multi-media components.
