I have attached below the my Cross Cultural Comparison Litertaure Review I started for this paper.
In this assignment you will use peer-reviewed research to evaluate cultural differences in development. The goal of this assignment is for you to evaluate a developmental topic or theme from a different cultural lens and with scientific evidence. To receive full credit for this assignment you must introduce your topic, evaluate the research article(s) that you have selected, explore why culture is relevant to your chosen topic, and include correct citations and an accurate reference page.
Guidelines
Page Requirements and Formatting:
Your paper should be written using APA Style. Your paper should be 3-5 written pages (~750-1200 words), double spaced, in 12 pt font (acceptable fonts: Times New Roman, Calibri, Arial). Margins should be 1”. The reference page does not count towards the page requirements. You must cite at least three peer reviewed journal articles.
Your paper should be in Microsoft Word format (either a .doc or .docx file). PDFs and .pages files will NOT be accepted. Your final paper should not contain spelling, grammar, or punctuation errors and must consist of complete sentences. Please proofread your final proposal carefully.
Content Requirements (see rubric below):
Your final paper should include the following sections:
Introductory paragraph (15): In this paragraph/section you will introduce your topic and introduce the argument of your paper. You should offer a brief description of your topic and what is scientifically and developmentally interesting about it. Your introduction should provide a road map for the rest of the proposal. This paragraph should be clear, concise, and readable. By the end of this paragraph/section, the reader should know generally the structure/main points of the rest of your writing assignment.
Literature review (35): In this section you will summarize and synthesize the findings from three peer reviewed research articles. You can think of this as an expanded and more detailed version of your topic selection assignment. You should describe the findings of each article and the methodology if relevant (e.g., if it is a literature review, you may just describe the general summary of the paper). Additionally, you should identify any limitations in these papers and explain how each paper is relevant to your topic.
You only need to summarize three articles, however, three papers is likely the minimum that you need. You may want to include additional references in your intro to explain more about the topic or additional references about the cultures you’ve included in your paper.
Developmental and cultural analysis (30): In this section, you will analyze the relationship between culture and your developmental topic. You should explore the role that culture has in development and should explore what we can learn from cross-cultural research. You should also identify what you learned about development from this assignment. For example, if people from many cultures experience an identical developmental trajectory, perhaps this tells us that that process of development is mostly determined by biology rather than by experience or socialization.
Conclusion (10 points): You should clearly conclude your paper – this can be part of your developmental and cultural analysis section or you can have an conclusion paragraph. You should summarize your paper and your argument in a few brief sentences.
Citations and Reference Page (10 points): You will be following APA style for this paper. You should use in-text citations and at the end have a correct reference page. For your reference page, google scholar even has an auto-citation generator. It is not always accurate, especially for older or translated work, but it can be a good first step.

Important things to remember:
No one culture is more “right” than another.
W.E.I.R.D cultures are often treated as the norm by which we compare other cultures. However, W.E.I.R.D. people are a minority of the human population. I encourage students to “de-center” W.E.I.R.D. populations.
Do not generalize.
Do not make claims without support – if you make a claim, you must substantiate that claim.
For example, a student may write something like “people in South India prefer spicier foods than people in the U.K.” This is a claim that needs a citation. In scientific writing, even if a claim feels correct, you must make sure there is evidence to support it.
