I HAVE ADDED AN ATTATCHMENT WITH THE TOPIC THAT I HAVE CHOSEN
The purpose of this assignment is to give you opportunity to ability to discuss, as an expert, the intervention or instrument that will be a key piece of the foundation in your program evaluation design. As such, it is the fourth of five milestones that mark your progress towards the completion of your program evaluation design.
Supportive Evidence-Based Studies Instructions
In a brief paper (200 words minimum; paper not to exceed 500 total words) identify:
At least two, evidence-based scientific studies that support the use of the intervention or assessment instrument you will be highlighting in your final program evaluation design. Each article will be scored individually and worth up to 25 points, for a total of 50 possible points.
Discuss the strength of the support found in the studies in research language. For instance, with an assessment instrument, you would discuss its content, number of items, subscales, how it has been used, as well as its Cronbach’s alpha and the type of studies and findings that indicate the instrument is valid. With an intervention, you will be concerned with any studies that show or suggest in a clinical trial or well-conducted experiment that the effect sizes are moderate to strong–that those who received the intervention have a stronger benefit than those who received an alternate intervention or none at all.
Examine and discuss how the two evidence-based articles do or do not address cultural considerations, equity, and reduction of bias in measurement instruments. How did they address and consider culture? Did they not address it at all? Integrate your learning from previous readings on cultural considerations in program evaluation and apply those to the chosen articles.
Include full APA citations on both of your articles. These articles cannot be the same articles utilized in the Critical Analysis assignment but could come from their references or from looking up authors who have cited the former articles using Web of Science. No lengthy quotations.
