I had to create a fictious company
and outline on how I would build out the database portion of the company
for my large scale database systems class my design will be included for
reference.
Now I must write a report on the business
outline I created by applying how the business relates to the learnings of the
textbook chapters. Every half page of the paper must include at minimum 2
things from each chapter on how it relates to my outline or how it can be used
to build the company.
This assignment will follow student APA
format Size 12 font, Times New Roman, double spacing, 1″ margins, no
before/after spacing.
The paper
will have more than a one-page introduction, one-page conclusion, ½ page per
chapter discussing how each chapter’s content can be applied to a design for my
selected scenario. The paper will be excellently written and organized. The
paper will be free of grammatical and spelling errors. The paper will
demonstrate advanced insights and make many practical, real-world
recommendations. The paper will use external sources in addition to the
textbook. The external sources will be of multiple types and consist of
adequate theoretical, scientific, and industry publications.
The paper
will contain at least five formatted graphs, charts, diagrams, or tables that
present relevant statistics, plans, topologies, policies, and/or relevant
technical data. These can be from sources outside the textbook or inside the
textbook.
My scenario
was a Bank that will be consolidating all banks in the US into one bank and
what that looks like in Large Scale Database terms.
Note: Reaing entire textbook is not necessary most chapters are small and reading chapter intro and conclusion may be enough.
