In this Assignment, you will explore the nurse as an influencer. What
might this look like? What is the impact, and what might be the ethical
and professional risks? You will reflect on and consider ways in which
you might construct a social media following by using a social media
medium to demonstrate how you might promote health.
To prepare:

Reflect on the Nurses Code of Ethics in relation to nurses’ responsibility to support activities of social change.
Consider how you might construct a social media following and the medium you would use.
Select a social change topic on which to focus your social media campaign.
Review the role of influencers on social change.
Review the steps of being an influencer.

Construct a social media webpage, a media flyer, or a
video in which you act as an influencer of social change in the field
of nursing. Include the following in your medium of choice: 
Explain the nurses’ responsibility in promoting health via social media.
Identify ethical and professional risks that need to be considered when using social media to promote health.
Draft and provide a clear message related to the social change topic selected.
Explain how you will repeat your message for emphasis and change. Be specific.
Explain how you will follow the steps of being an influencer. Be specific.
