This is the question that needs to be answered in the paper:
Question 2: How has the ethical culture of Lululemon impacted its relationship with customers and employees.
I have written an outline and gotten feedback of what needs to change in the paper that I am requesting. Also, attached is a sample of what the paper should look like.
Feedback: Make sure the thesis is a direct answer to the question and that your main points all prove your thesis statement. So, on the thesis: specifically address the company’s ethical culture, and connect this culture to its relationships with employees and customers.
As written now, both in main points and thesis, it’s too “lulu is great!” (except for the first main point). But they had some real problems with corporate culture. If they’ve fixed those, great! But start by identifying them and then talk about how they’ve fixed it. Having good values and doing easy stuff like yoga classes for employees isn’t the hard work here. How have they done with the *hard* work, like eliminating sexual harassment and putting their history of body shaming behind them? The sheer yoga pants were just really illustrative (and an opportunity for cheap headlines), but their problems go (or at least went) way deeper.
Some good sources here, but some that should be swapped out for better ones. Company sources aren’t reliable/credible, so make sure your drafts have at least 8 sources above and beyond company sources. Of course the company says they’re great; what do independent journalists/scholars say? Content marketing and blogs (like Cutting Edge PR and Simon Mainwaring) are also not great sources. You also don’t need a source that yoga and fitness extend life. Nor about climate change stuff broadly. So maybe not Belvoir or Dannenberg, either—though I don’t know how you’re using them yet, so grain of salt here.
