This paper is a part of international relations course. Ive linked the paper guidelines in attachments, it clearly explains what is expected from this paper. The topic is Nord Stream 2. You can use tables and graphs etc. For empirical data, I will also attach a document with some transcripts from speeches of US Officials. But 3 newspaper articles are still needed. I will also link a similar research project that can be used as an example. RQ: How has the use of economic sanctions against the construction of Nord Stream 2 been legitimised by the US? To explore the focus on text qualitative analysis of the US officials speeches and newspaper articles from the major American media networks. To answer the first sub question I will take transcripts from speeches my US officials in which the project is mentioned, I will look for speeches from not only US Presidents but also other high ranking officials in the White house.
For the second sub question I will use newspaper articles from the largest American news sources, such as CNN, Fox News, and USA Today. These particular media networks were picked because they have the largest reach among the American population; therefore their portrayal of NSII has the largest impact.
