The paper will be a review of current research literature – articles published within the past six years – about how the logistics area you select is applied and managed in the aviation and aerospace industry. All reference sources should be from academic journals, professional trade publications, and respected business or industry magazines. Limit the use of books as sources. Do NOT use articles or sources from any of the following: Wikipedia, newspapers, blogs, press releases, online white papers, commercial websites, advertising or marketing materials or online sites, personal essays, private organizational opinions or non-verified “research” reports.
1. Page 1 (Abstract) – Topic of the literature review. Concrete research question stated as a stand-alone question. How and why the reviewed literature was selected. Summary of the findings of the review. Answer to the research question. Value or importance of the review findings.
2. Page 2 (Introduction Paragraph) – No Heading. Topic of the literature review. Why the topic is important. Research question. How the paper is organized to address the topic and present the research findings from the literature.
3. Page 3-11 (Narrative) – Logical sections with headings. Describe and synthesize the research findings found in the articles reviewed from the researched literature. Findings among various authors and articles should be compared and contrasted to extract factual meaning and gain understanding related to the research question.
4. Page 11 (Conclusion) – Restate the research question first presented in the abstract and introduction. Limit findings and conclusions to what can be supported by the facts and data presented. Avoid expanding the conclusions beyond what the data will support. Provide a summary of the answer to the research question. Suggest areas for further investigation and research.
