Parts of your CCA:
1. Research Theme/Question, Purpose, and Objectives: You will provide a clear research theme and question. Your research question should be clearly defined, specific, measurable, and have testable objectives. You should describe how your research is different from previous work. You should put into prose what you wrote about in homework 4.
2. Project Background/ Conceptual Framework: In this section, you will provide a clear and thorough introduction and background. You will illustrate that your project is grounded in research and demonstrates knowledge of issues involved in the project. In this section, you will discuss the design and methodology that would be used. You should talk about groups and comparisons groups, time frame and research design. You should put into prose what you wrote about in homework 5.
3. An Annotated Bibliography: This annotated bibliography will include at least 7 (10 for maximum credit) current original research articles, a preponderance of which are published in the last ten years. The annotation will include an APA reference of the article, a summary of the study’s methodology, a summary of the study’s results, and a brief critique of the study. For full credit you must clearly identify and accurately present the methodology used for all studies, and details demonstrating why the methodology was appropriate. These CAN be the same studies you identified in your “project background/conceptual framework” section in the previous assignment. If you are unfamiliar with how to create an annotated bibliography, please review the following resources.  Please note each annotation should be BRIEF at a length of 1-2 paragraph maximum.  Also, an example of a high-quality annotated bibliography can be found on canvas under “files”.
4. Evaluation Methods: In this section, you will specifically state what will be measured, how your variables will measure it, and why the measures are appropriate. You should include detailed description of the data collection, instrumentation, and/or statistical methods to be used. You should explain how the data that will be collected clearly relate to and shows linkage to project objectives and outcomes. You should put into prose what you wrote about in homework 6.
5. Discussion of Synthesis and Next Steps: In this section, you will be completing a research synthesis summarizing the knowledge gained as it relates to the research question including exceptions, parameters and limitations. You should discuss how the data will be analyzed and give a potential time frame. You must provide at least two specific recommendations for future practice. The synthesis must follow APA format. You should put into prose what you wrote about in homework 7.
