Hi. First of all, this project is for 9th grade.
Basically, I should choose three different routes from my house to the school and walk through them 5 times for each (total 15). However, I didn’t do it, so you can come up with something, but you should know it takes me from 20-30 minutes walking. This is all for walking. So, I should compare the actual time I walked to the time that Google Maps says, then find errors, etc…
Starting point (Google Maps): Kosutrski Heroi 17, Skopje 1000
Ending point: Nova International Schools, Prashka 27, Skopje 1000
Instructions from the teacher:
For, this task you will have to check if Google gives the correct predictions for the time needed to reach a certain destination.
So in order to complete this task successfully you will need to choose 3 different paths to the International school NOVA and do 5 time measurements for each route to reach there from your home.
After measuring the time you will find the average time for each route and then you will calculate the average velocity for each route as you will know the distance to the school. You will also graphically represent the velocity distance graphs and make a conclusion which route is the fastest to the school. You will also have to find the errors and calculate them for the measurements you got for the time and the one that Google gave for the routes.
Here is a link that will guide you in how to write your last lab report. A link that will help you with what the lab report should look like (what you should write):

Please let me know if you don’t understand something. This is very important for me!!!
The teacher will be grading us on:
Criteria B: Inquiring and designing
Criteria C: Processing and evaluating
I will also post these instructions in files because I think here they are not very neat. I will also put some examples from my friends, too. I will add more files as examples if other friends sent their work to me.
