You will select one (1) of the topics below and fully address all the details it contains in a 7–8-page research paper.
● Write a biography about an individual who was influential in the field of aviation, and how this individual helped to define modern-day aerospace. The scope of this is broad. This could be an inventor, businessman, or a pilot. Some examples would include Ferdinand von Zeppelin, Hugo Junkers, Amelia Earhart, and Neil Armstrong.
● Examine the creation, production, and use of a specific model of aircraft, and how this model of aircraft helped to define modern-day aerospace. Some examples would include the Spad XIII, DC-3, Supermarine Spitfire, and the Boeing 747. Keep in mind that you are only writing about one specific model, not multiple.
● Choose a specific era of aviation, and analyze three details or events from that era that were vital to the advancement of modern aerospace.
The research paper must be written in current APA format, double spaced in 12 pt. font, have a minimum of 3 scholarly sources (not counting the textbook or Bible), and be 7-8 pages in length (not counting title page, abstract, or the reference page).
The research paper must contain a properly formatted reference page and in-text citations for all direct quotations and paraphrases from your sources. An abstract of at least 150 words must also be included at the beginning of the research paper.
