Groups of 2-3 students will present a published peer-reviewed quantitative research article. Therewill be about one group presentation each week. Groups will give a detailed oral presentation (~10mins) by introducing and discussing a paper of choice published in the last ten years in a peer-reviewed journal (Criminology, Criminology and Public Policy, Terrorism and Political Violence,etc.).Students can pick an interesting and relevant piece related to crime and criminal justice in general.You can use library sources and Google Scholars to access and read articles. Students must informthe professor about the article of their choice and have the Professor’s approval for the articlebefore the presentation.Presenters can use visuals (e.g., PowerPoint and Google Slides) as well. Presenters are supposed todescribe and explain the following in their presentation:• The reason why you chose this article.• Research question, purpose and significance of the research (e.g., the gap in the literature,policy outcomes)
