Gillette’s ‘We believe: the best men can be’ razors commercial takes on toxic masculinity campaign, launched in 2019, was a notable advertising campaign that aimed to address issues of toxic masculinity and promote positive behaviors among men. The campaign featured a short film titled “The Best Men Can Be,” which encouraged men to reflect on their actions and challenge harmful behaviors often associated with traditional notions of masculinity. The pushback was intense as has also been seen with companies that support LGBTQ+ causes.
