How the director applies their unique style to the mise en scène is a fascinating aspect of filmmaking. In this assignment, you will analyze a still image from a film that demonstrates the director’s creative choices in mise en scène.

In your assignment address the following:
Select one (1) still image from a film. Embed that image in the Word document and cite it properly in MLA format (ex. Lana Wachowski and Lilly Wachowski, directors. The Matrix. Warner Brothers, 1999.)
Identify how the various elements of mise en scène in your selected image are used to communicate information to the audience.
Be sure to utilize the specific terminology learned in the unit to address the important elements of this particular frame relating to:
Setting and Props
Costumes, Hair, and Makeup
Facial Expression and Body Language
Lighting and Color
Actor Blocking
Shot Composition
Explain the specific content or message that is being communicated through the use of these elements.
