Four hypotheses have to be analyzed and proven either true or false. H1: Having a Democratic gubernatorial administration, will increase the introduction of pro-abortion bills on behalf of state legislators.
H2: More funds are allocated towards Planned Parenthood under a Democratic gubernatorial administration.
H3: A Democratic Presidential administration will increase the propensity of enacting pro-abortion measures, if the State’s Governor is also Democratic.
H4: Abortion rates will increase in the state of Illinois under a Democratic governorship. I believe the answer to all of these hypotheses are TRUE. The papers objective is to collect the data and prove correlations and/or right or wrong. When the paper is submitted I MUST obtain the excel form utilized to create the graph/chart. The data will be derived from: public opinion polls, legislation, and bills sponsored/co-sponsored. Additionally, compare current with past gubernatorial administrations. These comparisons should be displayed in the chart/graph. For instance, count how many pro-choice bills passed in Illinois while a Democrat was in office and vice versa. Structure: (1) an introductory section which surveys the paper’s focus and goals, (2) the scholarly literature review section to provide an academic foundation for your research, (3) research design and methods, (4) key research findings and analysis, and conclusions and observations drawn from what you have learned through the research. The center piece of the paper CAN be the date.
