You will complete one interview using the provided you with template with some interview questions, you are expected to add your own questions to each interview.
During the interview, you will be responsible for recording notes. After each interview, you will reflect on the experienceThis criterion is linked to a Learning Outcome. Things to include in the reflection are (a) a general description of observations made during the interview, (b) a description of questions you added to the interview guide, (c) what you enjoyed about the interview, (d) what you learned from this interview, and (e) how you will use what you learned in the future.
You will be responsible for (a) finding a special education teacher (or other professional that works with people w/disabilities) AND student with a disability to interview, (b) scheduling the interviews, (c) communicating with your instructor about scheduled interviews, (d) conducting the interviews, (e) recording notes during the interview, and (f) submitting reflections and notes for each interview. You will also need to get and submit consent if the student is under 18 years. A sample consent form you can use is provided in the materials below.
