April 2, 2024

For this paper search for Research Articles in Educational Research Studies that use Quantitative research methods to discuss the use of STEAM in the classroom. You will search for articles where teachers shift their instructional practice. Use articles that are related to your own area of teaching if you are a teacher. In addition, search for an instructional practice that you have wanted to try in your classroom.
Paper Format: Sonce all research papers have consistent formats, you will write this paper using the following sections: Introduction to the paper ( what will you be discussing; your assigned task); Sections: introcuction, literature review, methods, findings (or results), discussion ( or conclusion). Finally you will add a summar paragraph with one ro two sentences abot ropics generally covered within each section of the research paper. The foal is these two assignments is for you to begin to understand the kinds of topics/ideas that are founf within each section of a research paper.
In your paper, describe the topics the author discusses within each paper section. You must find three sesearch articles, aside from the one provided by the instructor, that use a qualitative research methodology in their researwch. Read all 4 papers and select the 3 you will use in your paper. You are to determine the “topics” that writers of qualitative research discuss in each section of the qualitative study. THerefore you will be using the sections of a research paper after your overall instoduction to the task of the paper. Then you will be writing about the following sections: Intoduction, Literature Review, Methods, Findings (or results), Discussion. Finally you will add a summary paragraph about quantitative research methods and ideas that you found in each section.
The first step after findinf your articles, reading the one i provided, and selecting 3 papers, you must google, using a general search engine the following phrase ” Topics that researchers must discuss in the introduction section of a Quantitative research paper.” You will write down the ideas/topics that researchers must discuss in that section. Then find a second source and do this again. THe goal is to get All the ideas usually discussed in each secation. Next you will use these topics and ideas in the chart below that you will create. THese ideas become the information across the top of the chart for each section.  THIS IS THE INFORMATION YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AS YOU READ EACH SECTION OF EACH PAPER.
Next you will create and complete a chart. THis chart will have the sections of the research paper across the top of the page. IN the box that says INTRODUCTION, you will list all the ideas or topics you found above. Do the sme for the other sections by googleing the same sentence, replacing introduction with Literature Review, Methods, FIndings/Results, Discussion/COnclusion. Now you will know what ideas you are looking for in each paper
Next, along the left side of the chart you will list the 3 articles (or authors names). you have selected
You will fill in each section of the chart by A): looking at the ideas we find in the introduction section, and then B) reading the introduction section of the first article listed on the left. You will jot down in the square under the introduction across the top: tje odeas you will find in the papers introduction section. THen you will read the papers LIterature Review and List the ideas/topics you found in the section by using the topics you ohave across the top of your chart. The paper becomes quite manageable by examining how manyof othe pepers have silimar ideas. You would write the introduction Section of a research paper perhaps,”All three papers duscussed at a glimpse of previous research although paper 2 really elaborated on it saying …………… You would talk about each idea present in each paper but also by stnading above A:: papers for commonalities such as this example.
APA format, Title Page: student name, date, assignment title, 7-9 pages in length (the body of the paper only; this does not include the title page or reference.), Double-Spaced, Headings on sections of paper 2 (in order): Introduction of Paper Requirements, Introduction section, Literature Review, Methods, FIndings (or Results), Discussion, Summary, Reference list at the end 4-5 required. Title page and reference page does not count towards the total.
