For this assignment you will write an initial discussion forum post of around 30

April 27, 2024

For this assignment you will write an initial discussion forum post of around 300-500 words describing something you consider to be a potential future trend for data visualization and/or data warehousing. You should choose an appropriate title for your post and focus on a particular trend such as generative AI for data dashboards, mobile visualization, augmented-reality visualization, data-lakes, or anything else you feel has the potential to be a become a significant aspect of data warehousing or data visualization within the next 10 or 15 years. You should tell us why you think this new trend may happen and what opportunities and problems may arise. You are encouraged to use your imagination when choosing a topic and consider any trends that have the potential to become established in the near future. The trend can be something that is in the prototype stage now but it should not already be in wide use.
You will also need to respond to the posts of two other students with a reply of around 300-500 words reflecting on what they have said. You should try and make your reply balanced, critical and add some additional knowledge or insight to the discussion of the post topic.
Tasks
Decide on a topic and title for your discussion post.
Navigate through the existing topics in the discussion forum. If your topic is too close to that of another student, you will need to choose another topic. Note that topics can be related but they should have some substantial difference (for example GAI to generate summary text and GAI to configure dashboards would be considered different topics). Once you have a suitable topic you can post your preliminary discussion title to the topic forum.
Write a post of approx. 300-500 words on your topic and add it to the discussion question 2 assignment forum.
Add a 300-500 word reply to the post of another student. You should try to reply to a post that has no replies yet. If all of the posts already have replies, then reply to a post that only has one reply.
Your contribution to the discussion is expected over three weeks as follows:
Week Two – respond to two or three of your peer’s first posts (300-500 words). Ensure you use academic references and sources from your reading to support your argument.
In each discussion post, ensure you use references to academic literature (journals, books, reports, etc.). You should also demonstrate that you understand all the topics, so your posts should include references to the accessibility standards, guidelines, and legal requirements.
Once submitted, you have 1 hour to edit your discussion post if you want to make any changes. Please carefully review your post before submitting it.
To prepare for this discussion please review the week’s reading list and lecturecast.
The recommended word count for the full discussion forum is 1500 words. The initial post should be between 300-500 words. The response posts should be between 300-500 words. Only the final summary post will be subject to the maximum word count policy. This final post must not exceed 500 words. References and images are not included in the word count. As per the assessment length policy, penalties will be applied to assessments which exceed this length.
“Week Two – respond to attached first posts (300-500 words)(“Exploring Potential Future Trends in Data Visualization”). Ensure you use academic references and sources from your reading to support your argument.”
please refer the book that i attached “Data Warehousing Fundamentals”. (if possible)
