For our final project, you will choose a current event, social issue, or topic, and directly connect it to our class content on the history and effects of racial formation.
Based on the knowledge you have acquired in our class please answer the following:
How did U.S. history as it pertains to racial formation contribute to the shaping of this current event/social problem?
How does this current event/social issue effect historically racially marginalized communities (Indigenous/Native Americans, Black/African American, Chicana(o)/Mexican American/Latino, Chinese Americans, and Filipino Americans, etc.)?
Possible topics include, but are not limited to the following :

For your project you will need to utilize your research skills to make, and support your argument, to discuss the history of the issue, and to connect it to the present.

( you can also choose what topic you want to talk about just make sure you make it the title for the project – as long it follows up with the main foucs)
It doesn’t has to be over the top professinal – it can be creative and fun slides ( as long it’s infromative and looks nice )
you dont have to do speaker notes
& not every slide needs to have 500+ words 200-350 is good
