Follow the outline I will attach. The purpose of the informative speech is to present information in an interesting way to your audience so that they have learned something new and can speak intelligibly upon the subject. I ask that you choose a topic that pursues this and some examples may be: Political parties, Harry Potter, spiders, a particular time in history, famous person, etc.
The speech should be about 6-8 minutes long. Please abide by this time as it is good to start training yourself to present within a time limit.
The speech must consist of visuals that are interesting and possibly interactive for your audience. The needed visual platforms you can use are PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Prezi. Think one slide per minute. Your large informative speech should also use some of the major topics or points that have been brought up in class so far: Being present physically, using an ice-breaker, being very knowledgeable about your subject, using transitions, dropping fillers, vocal variety, projection, eye contact, passion, etc. You should stick to your outline and can use it as a reference during your speech. This speech is researched and you should have at least 5 sources. They should be put in your PowerPoint at the end (Bibliography).
This speech is worth 150 points and the breakdown is as follows: 100 for the speech, 25 for the visual, 25 for the outline.
