Objective:
The objective of this group assignment is to provide students with the opportunity to analyze and evaluate financial statements of a public listed company in Canada/USA and its financial ratios. For this assignment, your group will be evaluating the financial performance of the chosen company through performing research and analyzing its financial ratios over the past 3 years, comparing against 2 competitors (industry ratios comparison). Through this assignment, you will to be able to apply quantitative reasoning, critical and creative thinking, and communication, and problem-solving skills. 
This group assignment carries 20% of the grade, and you can find the attached team assignment rubric here.
Tasks:
Form a group of 4 students. As a group, students will enrol their names in BrightSpace Groups.
One student from each group will represent as a group captain and submit the group report assignment.
Each group will choose a public listed company, analyze and evaluate annual financial statements and financial ratios. 
Report Submission Instruction:
Maximum 15 pages excluding Reference/Appendix using APA referencing standard. You may consider using Reference/Appendix section to include your research references, relevant graphs, charts, illustrations, and tables.
Report (in MS Word file format) submission due date and time: 1 June 2024 23:59 Hr. Pacific Standard Time.
Only the group captain of the team needs to submit the report on behalf of the team.
Report Expectation:
Your report should cover the following content, or you may include relevant sections where appropriate.
Executive Summary

Company’s Financial Situation
Company’s Ratio and Time Trend Analysis
