Next, do more research about the transculturation of Chinese BBQ pork buns. (HINT: Use the
bibliography of the article you were given for some ideas on where to look for sources.) Find at
least two more peer-reviewed sources and other reliable sources from your own research.
In your essay, apply the first four Global Competencies from the course as you analyze the
article that you were given and the articles from your further research to the globalization of
southern Chinese BBQ pork buns (char siu bao). Be sure to discuss each of the first four Global
Competencies in your essay and explain how you see them in the story of how char siu bao
diffused around the world.
