What values will your chosen audience find important?
The word “value” is a noun that means a person’s principles or standards of behavior; one’s judgment of what is important in life.
What do your opponents value? Is it different from your audience? Why or why not?
Second, write a formal outline by filling in the following components:

Supporting Claim #1: (Write only one complete sentence. Write one reason why your audience should agree with your thesis.)
Supporting Claim #2: (Write only one complete sentence. Write one different reason why your audience should agree with your thesis.)
Supporting Claim #3: (Write only one complete sentence. Write another different reason why your audience should agree with your thesis.)
Supporting Claim #4: (Write only one complete sentence. Write another different reason why your audience should agree with your thesis.)
Statement of Opposition’s Supporting Claim: (Write only one complete sentence. Write one reason why your opposition might disagree with your thesis. In other words, write one supporting claim that your opposition might use in an argument against you. Do not write the opposite of your thesis statement.)

Assignment Specific Requirements
You are required to use the thesis you had approved for Thesis Statement Submission.
The thesis & each supporting claim are required to be written as complete sentences.
The thesis & supporting claims are required to be in your own words. They should be yourideas and opinions.
Do not quote, paraphrase, or summarize claims from an outside source. This will count as plagiarism.
You are required to have at least 4 supporting claims. Of course, you can have more than 4 supporting claims.
You are required to have at least 1 statement of opposition’s claim. Of course, you may also write more than one. Consider each counter argument as a body paragraph. You can have as many counter arguments as you need.
This outline should not be written in paragraph form. It should be a labelled list of the components.
