FINAL PROJECT GUIDELINES
*Please read these instructions carefully and be sure to submit all of the required components
**You must upload all of your files to Moodle – links to filesharing services (e.g. Google Drive) are not acceptable
Exhibition Plan:
Please submit your detailed exhibition plan. Your submission must include all of the following components:
–Curatorial essay (2-3 pages)
Provide a clear, well-written introduction to your exhibition, articulating how your exhibition theme relates the Anthropocene to the selection of works you will be putting on view.  The aim is to provide a context for the exhibition – do not focus on the specific items you will be showing, but give a more general overview of the questions and issues that will be explored through the theme and the works on display.
–10 to 12 annotated images of works you will include in your exhibition (1 image/annotation per page)
Provide a full-sized good-quality image of each item you plan to show with a brief (80-100 word) analysis and rationale for each selection focusing on the significant elements or features of each piece in its relation with your exhibition theme.  Include a caption for each image with the complete information about the item:
-name of artist
-title of work
-date of production
-list of materials
–An overview of the exhibition design and installation (1-2 pages)
Describe the exhibition space and how you plan to display the items on view.  For instance, how will the objects be organized and placed?  How will design/decorative elements such as wall colour, text or graphics, backdrops and lighting create the appropriate atmosphere, engage the viewer and enhance the overall experience?  Include a visual component such as a map, sketch or digital mock-up of one of your planned displays to illustrate your ideas.
Check out the following web page for some helpful ideas about the elements to consider in formulating your exhibition design:
