Masters degree students are
expected to write one paper 3,000 words in length (+- 10%) on a topic of the student’s choosing
in consultation with the instructors (45% of final grade).
Ph.D. students are expected to
write one paper 5,000 words in length (+- 10%) and will need 
to consult with the instructors
regarding a topic.
Paper submission guidelines:
a. Timeline for final paperwork
1. Selection of paper topic and research questions, 3/19.
2. Thesis statement and rough outline, 4/2.
3. Rough draft for instructor’s feedback (optional) 4/16.
4. Final paper to be uploaded to Moodle, 5/11.
b. They must be submitted in a Microsoft Word or a
compatible format.
c. Assignments must conform to Turabian
d. All file names for papers MUST EXACTLY be named using the
following format:
StudentLastName_FirstInitial_THEO650_S24_Paper#
