Final Paper: 50 points of your grade will consist of a Final Paper in APA Style. The Final Paper, which will be due on Sunday 5/12/2024 at Midnight and should be uploaded to the link in the Discussion Forum on BlackBoard. The paper is to be no more than 20 double-spaced pages, including references, and using APA Style. Uploaded files must be in .pdf format. You should include your name in the File name so I can easily identify your paper. For the paper you are to design a treatment program from each of the three perspectives we have covered in the course for a specific personality disorder that we have NOT discussed at length in the course (both the McWilliams and Beck texts as well as the DSM5TR can provide more information on the disorders we have not covered). You should also make reference to and discuss material from the Huprich text that address the disorder you have chosen to write about. The paper should be divided into four sections: Psychodynamic, CBT, ACT and Integrative Summary. These should include: 1. Brief diagnostic formulation using each of the three approaches we have discussed (Psychodynamic, CBT, ACT and integrating information from Huprich). In the formulation you should delineate how the particular theory views the characteristics of the personality disorder you selected. 2. A brief description of how you would use each theory to treat the person with the personality disorder you have chosen to write about. 3. In the Integrative Summary you should write about commonalities and overlaps in how each theory would address the disorder you have chosen and indicate which theoretical approach is most likely to be effective with that personality disorder, and why.
Now, The paper is 20 pages max INCLUDING citations. The more citations, the better, as the paper can be shorter if theres more citations.
