Feedback and Synthesis Improvement Plan:

Research the
pathophysiology associated with one of the following five
diseases: Alzheimer disease, cancer, chronic lower respiratory infections,
nephritis, or suicide. Use your
course, textbooks, online resources, and other resources as needed.

Using the information
gathered from your research, prepare a one-page synthesis for one of the above diseases. Your
synthesis should include a simple description of the pertinent points for
your chosen condition, including pathophysiology, clinical manifestations,
and diagnostic methods. In
the synthesis text, cite the resources you used to write your synthesis.
Include links in the text of your synthesis to cite where you obtained
information.

Meet with one or more
healthcare providers or colleagues to present and obtain feedback on your
synthesis. Ask for feedback regarding the clarity and accuracy of your
synthesis. Document the feedback you received in your portfolio separately
from the synthesis, and describe what, if any, changes you made to the
synthesis. Next, use this feedback to improve your advanced professional
nurse or colleague pathophysiology synthesis and include just this improved
synthesis in your portfolio.
● Write a written reflection of the assignment and consider the following in your reflection:
○ the process you followed to complete the
synthesis and what you might do differently next time, if anything
○ any new information you learned
○ what you found most challenging about completing
and presenting the synthesis
○ the feedback you received on your synthesis and
how you used the feedback to improve your synthesis
