•Coordinate and implement DOTS activities in the District (prevention, diagnosis, treatment)
•Register cases, prepare quarterly reports and analyze the data → local health decisions → public health  decisions
•Supervise health facilities and laboratories (check the quality of data registered/notified)
•Ensure continuous supply of drugs and other supplies at District (Peripheral) Level and estimate needs
•Coordinate local training of identified staff (cadres)
•Plan and budget activities in the District
