Every student has a choice to deliver the formal oral presentation either in class or as a video and upload it in Canvas. You you choose to submit your presentation online, you have to do it by April 5th, Sunday, 11:59 P.M. If you choose to deliver your presentation in person, you will do that on Monday, April 1st.
Below are the topics for your second formal oral presentation. Select only one of the topics from the list below.
Topics:
What three assumptions about you do you wish people did not make? Explain your answer. (Your focus should be gender roles, not biological differences).
Answer either question, NOT both: What are three challenges that are unique to being a man? Why? OR What are three challenges that are unique to being a woman? Why? (Be careful to avoid overtly sexist remarks in your answers.)
Choose a fairy tale or an ad and discuss how men and/or women are portrayed there. Are such messages harmful or beneficial?
What are three things you would like the opposite sex to know? (For example, if you are a female, what are the three things you wish your fellow male classmates knew about you? If you are a male, what are three things you wish your fellow female classmates knew about you?)
The video recording of your oral presentation should be 3-5 minutes long.
Prepare and record a well-developed and structured presentation on the chosen topic. Your presentation should follow standard conventions of grammar and sentence structure.

Be advised that your presentation will be reviewed for plagiarism. If any plagiarized content is included in your presentation, no credit will be given for this formal oral presentation.
