Overview
For the final project, you will assume the role of the HIM director employed at Shoreline Health System. Recently, there has been a surge in ransomware attacks on healthcare organizations, and these organizations have struggled to continue effectively providing patient care while not having access to their electronic patient records. To ensure that the Shoreline Health System is prepared for such a situation, the board of trustees has asked you to develop an enterprise-wide contingency plan. You will use the Shoreline Health System case study in the Final Project Case Study document as the base of your contingency plan and conduct research to supplement the case study information.

In previous milestones, you conducted a risk assessment, developed downtime procedures, developed training approaches, and outlined your incident command system. Now, you must develop a plan to evaluate the success of your contingency plan. To complete this milestone, you will use both the Shoreline Health System case study and outside research.

Continuously Evaluate: Develop a procedure to continuously evaluate the success of the contingency plan.
Implement Improvements: Explain how you will implement improvements to the plan.
