For example, if you chose “Child and Preadolescent” as a population you want to focus on, you’d go to Chapter 13 where there’s a whole list of potential issues within this specific life cycle (like cystic fibrosis or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). You’d then do some basic research online and in the book/slides to give you an idea of what vitamins, minerals, foods/calories, etc. you might need to know if you were a dietitian who had to meet/counsel a patient within this group. Since this only has to be about 2 pages, keep it simple. Include resources, organizations, places, etc. that might specialize in a particular disease/condition at this age of life and where you would need to go to learn more about working with this patient.
