Instructions: To fulfill your research paper requirement, you may work with one or two other students in this class only; of course, you may also work alone. Working as a group, the members of the group will be able to combine their efforts to write a superior research paper. Once the group is formed, you cannot change groups or work on your own, so choose your teammates wisely. If you choose to work in a group, five points will be added to the grade for this project.
Do the following:
1. Choose a group coordinator. The coordinator will be responsible for organizing the group’s meetings and making sure that all parts of the project are completed on time. The coordinator will upload the essay to Canvas and include on the title page the names of all the members of the project.
2. Every member of the group will receive the same grade for the single research paper that is submitted (Make sure that all members of the group are doing their fair share of the work.).
3. Regardless of whether you work with a group or alone, the paper must be an argument (as presented in this course). It must have a clearly-stated major proposition, support of the mp, and a refutation.
4. The research paper should consist of the following:
a. the names of the participants who should receive credit for the assignment.
b. a sentence outline
c. the text of the research paper (no more than 5-6 pages of text)
